Creative agency marketing veteran Kerry Fitzmaurice has joined startup blockchain entertainment studio SingularDTV as svp of brand marketing.
SingularDTV is a decentralized entertainment studio powered by blockchain technology and built on the Ethereum platform. Headquartered in Zurich, Switerzerland, with offices in Los Angeles, New York and Hong Kong, the company’s applications provide filmmakers, musicians and other artists with the tools to fund, distribute and market their content in a peer-to-peer ecosystem, eliminating traditional funding obstacles.
Fitzmaurice, who early in her career worked in production on theatricals like The Cider House Rules and Magnolia, has been the managing director and global CMO at several high-profile creative agencies, including 72andSunny and Mother, where she worked with clients such as Activision, Sonos, Target and Anheuser-Busch InBev. Fitzmaurice was also global CMO at KBS+ and managing director for McKinney. She is based in New York.

Fitzmaurice will be responsible for refining and elevating SingularDTV’s brand positioning as well as market the company’s entertainment studio (SingularDTV also produces original content) and bring to market a decentralized distribution portal that it plans to launch next year.
