U.S. Stocks Climb as Retail Sales Rebound


U.S. stocks rallied Tuesday on fresh data showing consumer spending rebounded in May after states began easing lockdown restrictions.

The S&P 500 gained 2.3%, heading toward a third consecutive session of gains. The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed about 630 points, or roughly 2.5%. The Nasdaq Composite added about 1.9%.
